Join the University of Utah Police Department for the four-hour Building Trust with the LGBTQ+ Community training. This course will examine how campus police and public safety can more effectively build partnerships on their campuses and work with the LGBTQ+ community to create a safe and secure environment for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This interactive training will focus on the history of police-community interactions, defining common terminology, the state of current police-community relationships, and building partnerships with the community.
