Join the University of Utah Police Department for the four-hour Principled Policing training. This course will educate participants on the concept of principled policing and explain how it strengthens trust between police/public safety and communities. Participants will learn the historical and generational impact of policing legitimacy, ways to increase police legitimacy, the benefits of procedural justice in law enforcement, and how implicit bias impacts policing.
